Well, I've been intending to give these two journals back for a while now, but they've been so interesting that I just can't bring myself to do it! See, one day Gawyn dropped this little leather bound book and I thought "Hey! Spells!" So of course I picked it up (to give back to him), only it just happened to flop open in this big gust of wind, and what do you know? It's his journal! Now, I'm not the kind of kendermaid who'll go through someone's personal items when they've dropped them, you know, like some kind of theif or something, but I couldn't help but notice my name on the page the wind had blown it open too. So I took a little peek. Just a little one. I mean, I've been with him for this whole adventure, so I already know all the exciting stuff, like running into a hundred and forty-four grell--big icky brainy thingies with this paralysis stuff on their tentacles--so it wasn't like i was going to find any new bard stories in there. Anyhoo, totally by accident, I read the whole thing, so while I was at it, I thought I'd better correct some of his grammar and maybe add in some of the stuff that he forgot.
So it took me a couple of days to get through it all, and you know? He's a cold arrogant bastard. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Well, no sooner had I finished going through his journal and commenting then Lelenia drops hers too! People should really put their private writing in a safer place. I can't always be here to clean up after them, after all. "But," I thought to myself, "Lelenia will feel left out if I only help out Gawyn with his journal." So I went through hers too while I was at it. I wonder if Onan carries a diary? If I could get that giant metal lock off of his backpack without him noticing, maybe I could help him out too...
