Hurrying to her chambers, Prince Casamon and our heroes (minus Yoshi, he went directly to the castle sewer entrance) found Leiali bound on the floor--only it wasn’t the lady in waiting. Removing her veil, the Prince discovered his beloved Gildea. She seemed to be enchanted in some way as she couldn’t tell the adventurers anything about what had happened except that they had taken the Quelosti family rubies. The two ladies in waiting were missing.
The adventurers headed off directly after them, tracking whoever it is out through the sewers and across the river. The trail soon left the main road and they followed it into the Grenwood, where they were attacked by a party of drow wearing bandages over their eyes to protect them from the sun. Of these, they killed three, one fled, and they took one prisoner.

They came to the first intersection of our district. They didn’t communicate with our enemies, but they are do not belong in our realm. They sprang the first warning. They are coming closer, fighting the random monsters of our underground world...
The wedding is tomorrow.
The town will be in uproar.
We will be out on the streets.
Everything will be unwatched.
Let it begin...

At first it was just the half-orc and the human, but eventually they all came down. The Monk and the Barbarian dragged some hapless guard with them. They have seen the writing on the walls, they have found some of the ladders. They approached our barriers but did not discern their secrets. One of them was wandering the maze when the fist two came down. They saw the body -- they may have found the Card. They couldn’t possibly have read it, just as they couldn’t possibly have read the writing on the walls. They have eliminated some of our natural dangers: a goodly number of those oversized rats, and the hag that lived in the dead end. Soon they will pass out of our area into their area. And then they will no longer be a problem.
